Oil level sender??
can i replace the oil level sender without draining the oil?

yes..even when full BUT the car must be cold.
i had an issue with my sender and took it out when it was cold. i then drove it and still had a problem with the sender. started taking it of and oil poured out. b.t.w: mine was not working because the wires were switched
