Jim, I waved to you when you were headed home that Sunday. You were headed west and I was headed east on 505, in my red cab.
Nice pics too! Man that wheel to wheel racing has got to be fun! |

Nice pictures.
I've got the Toyo RA-1's on my track wheels. Where do I get the large TOYO sticker for the windshield?

I can try to score you one of the Toyo stickers there still are a few letf, they are a major sponsor of this series, and they provide them, if you have a color preference let me know, not sure if I can pull off a specific color, but I will try. No promises.
Matt, I remember seeing the red cab.

that car #333 is the guy that the suspension/shock story in excellence was done on this past issue. did he get to keep the adjustables that they tested?

I like the pictures. The photographer seemed to get some interesting angles. I watched some races at Thunderhill once a number of years ago and don't remember seeing any bridges. Do they have have some now or was the photographer just up on one of the surrounding hills with a REALLY BIG lens?

John, the bridge in the picture is from Sears Point. This last year they trucked it in and assembled it.

ah yes, how did we get those shots, as I said in the tag line, these are Toyo Cup Photos, from the last time we were at Thunderhill, no where did I say this was a race. One of the organizers of the PRC hired a pro photographer to shoot some promo shots for Toyo. So he actually strapped himself to the front and rear of a truck and drove around the track to get the shots,
So we are actually not racing. These are shots from the organizers camera who was in the back of the truck. Apparantly the pro photographers shots will have a blurred background giving a sense of speed as well. I will let you know how they look after I see the proofs. Still great shots of 911s on the track in close quarters Jim
