SC Dyno chart?

My 1979 SC seems to come on the cams at about 4k rpm. Is this normal? Does anyone have a dyno chart of for one of these?

my 79 3.0L motor definately starts hitting that sweet spot at 4k. I think that is very typical.

I think this is from the Bentley manual.

Emarsh....any mods to your car? Adding SSI's and dorking with the timing advance and mixture will broaden the range. Before doing any of these it was almost as if I had turbo lag until 4K :)

Yep, very normal. If you advance timing to 35 degrees full advance, the torque curve will flatten a little. I also have installed different cams (20/21, but 964 cams are similar) which have the same effect (flattening the power curve). Yes, your experience is normal. Poor power below about 3500 rpm, screams like a banshee above 4000.
