UK Pelicans - TIPEC National Event
Hi Guys,

Not me Tim..... I'll be in Cornwall this weekend.
However I'm booking (saturday) tickets for "The Festival Of Speed" for me and a few friends. Any Pelicans heading down for the event ? Have a good one at the TIPEC do ...

Have any of you south coast boys heard or been to the Brighton Speed Trials on Madeira Drive ? From what I hear it's just a "run what you brung" event where you can drag race your cars along the half mile strip adjacent to Brighton beach. Apparently you can get anything from a Ferrari to a Golf GTI to a Westfield XTR2 ripping up the strip. The raised promenade along the seafront makes a perfect spectator stand.....
I've put it in my diary (1st September) cos it's free, not too far away and sounds like great fun

Only problem with a Kendal speed trial is whether a Nova or a Citroen Saxo would win - of course if they introduced corners I'd probably beat them both on my pedal bike!

Me neither I am afraid, having done le mans, and going for a 6hr kart enduro on saturday, the better half is asking who I am.
