Difference between LED and Bi-LED?

I've been trying to understand the main difference between a Bi-LED and regular LED?

Is the Bi-LED worth the extra expense? I'm not too sure what makes it different from a regular LED light?

The Bi-LED (or Bi-Xenon) incorporates two functions in a single headlight. E.g. high and low beam. Single LED headlights are mainly bulbs for only one function, either high or low beam, and the LED bulb can replace a common halogen light bulb in a headlight if this is street legal (depends on the regulations in your country).
