Elephant Racing
Major shout out to the guys at Elephant Racing (specifically Jackson, and of course Chuck himself) - I put my order in Thursday morning for a full rubber bushing refresh on my 86 Carrera, and just a little over 24 hours later, a very nice 19 pound box showed up on my door step full of fantastic goodies! Almost like Christmas all over again (although not a gift!)....
Excellent pre-sales service, insanely fast shipping (free)... Now comes the hard part - installing it all.

Are they the guys you can send your stuff to and they’ll swap everything out? Been thinking of doing that with my ‘80 while it’s too cold outside to drive

The full suspension and 930 brake upgrade as seen in their videos is great but it is well north of $15K. Elephant Racing is a quality company with real customer service. I urge folks to talk with them rather than just using their suspension configurator.

+1, Chuck will bring your build back to reaity....

Reading the posts and planning your hot rod/driver, it is all to easy to crank up your goals and expectations - potentially going a bit too far for your real use. I have found, as others have, that Chuck will help you dial in your parts for your probable use, not sell you a bunch of stuff that will push your car too far in the direction of unrealistic performance dreams. This is not to disparage any of the other manufacturers, or purveyors of hot rod goodies for our cars, but rather a +1 for the Elephant Guy. Other than that, fairly stock. |
