I finally received a hockey punk steering and plan to install it on a 87 911 targa. It currently has a momo wheel on. From the back am trying to figure out where the 2 wires (one ground and one live goes. ) any help
Is appreciated before I try tonight. Cheers.

Ground wire should go the tab at the 12 o'clock position of the pictured back of hockey puck.

Thats it, it comes from the signal cancel ring. Pressing the horn button grounds the horn and it beeps.

Didn't these have a different spline count from SC/Carrera wheels?

Also, I think hockey punk steering would give you too much kickback:

There are reproductions being made for G body cars - backdate style

Been eyeing these for years. Is this from the SM outfit located in the same state as our host?

Please provide all kinds of details on how this works for you. Photos too please. Was the deep dish model considered? Patrick Long said something to the effect that a larger diameter steering wheel makes it more fun. I believe the vintage look is better than any of the newer 3 spokes and my vintage momo is okay but after seeing many of the new builds I want a change

Even pulled a similar 4 spoke out of a 914 a couple years ago and tried to make it fit with no luck

Thanks ahead for your input

Oh, I didn't know about those - thanks. I like the look of these wheels and I prefer the 380mm size.

This one I got is specific to the g bodies. On inspection and dissection it has a momo hub as its base.

I’ll answer the best I can.

This is not from our host. It’s from a shop in Belgium. It took a while to show up but was expensive as hell. It’s the larger diameter 380mm wheel and it’s much nicer to turn around than the smaller momo.

Also we don’t have power steering so larger wheel makes it easier to move which is actually very true.

The one I have a not super deep dish. You get deeper dish wheels but seems like they have a shorter hub. Am not a fan of super deep dish wheels so I stuck to minimal ones. It’s does looks super awesome.

Momo wheels are modern by a lot of standards. It’s also omnipresent and for a good reason. This one is expensive but the quality is surprisingly superb. I don’t think a older model wheel
With fit since this wheel is based of the momo hub. The punk and the embossing is super.
