Heat blower motor installation instructions

I just bought this motor
https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/91162415103PH.htm

but the instructions provided here are not for my engine configuration
https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Porsche_911/ENGINE-Heater-Blower-Motor-Replacement/ENGINE-Heater-Blower-Motor-Replacement.htm

my car is a 1982 911 SC
and the motor is parallel to the airbox like in the picture attached, so is there anything i need to know, any difficulty differences?

Can't say on the difficulty differences as I've never done one newer than a '78.

But getting blower off the engine is about as hard as it gets as I recall. You then just replace the old motor and use you existing cage and other hardware. Wiring is straight-forward, a hot and a ground. The cable pulls by the seat provide a closed circuit.

On an SC it should be stupid easy. Unbolt the inlet side and loosen the clamp that holds the blower. Disconnect and remove. Then follow instructions on removal of the fan from the motor and reinstall.

Pretty much this. The whole fan housing and motor comes out as an assembly so you'll have to disconnect the hoses and move them out of the way first. After that it's just getting the clamp loose and finagling the unit this way and that until you're able to get it out--access is tight. Disassemble on the bench and pay attention to shims and washers for reassembly with the new motor.
