engine sits too low????
I just installed my engine in my 81 sc. my friend and neighboor has the same car. after putting my engine I took a peek at his and noticed that my engine seems to sit about 1 inch lower than his. any thoughts......I know I put the emgine mounts on corretly and torqued to proper specs. I don't know!!! anyone had something similar? what could it be????? thanks

As compared to what? The ground, the bottom of the body?

I measured about 13/8 inch from the rear mount carrier/cross-bar, to the mounting flange on the body.
edit: Note: the carrier/cross-bar has the flange at the top. (I dont know if these even can be put on upside down, but . . .?) ![]()
