Custom vents

I saw this work on a previous thread and have been trying to find out who makes this part. The thread has since closed, but I believe the user was PDACPA. If anyone has some info on where I can locate this vent, please let me know. I have attached a copy of the original pic.

Mookster,

I bought a used set of those vents about half a year ago to put on my widebody 911. They are made from fiberglass.

Sorry, I don't know who makes them, but see the link below and
PM Racerbvd

Ruf style front spoiler & vented bumper ext for wide body 911

I have only seen them on a car once before - on a 930 on eBay. I can post those pictures later when I get home.
Is your car narrow or wide?
I was thinking of making a mold from them before I put them on my car just in case one gets damaged. If I do I'll be able to make a set for you.

My car is a narrow body. Any information or help locating a pair of these vents is greatly appreciated.

I think you're right - that would be P. David Alessandri. His e-mail is PDA@aacpas.com, or PDA.CPA@verizon.net. He's a good guy and I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out.

Mookster

I sent you an email but try Golden Coachworks. That is the only unidentified receipt in my upgrade folder. I have this whole spreadsheet with info and nothing on the flares.

Is Golden Coachworks (of Indiana) still in business? I thought they went out of business years ago.

I called information for a listing, 217-696-2754, and the number was disconnected. If anyone else has additional leads, I'm listening...

Thank you to those who responded.

What is the function of those vents?

Could you simply cut slots in the existing piece?

Mookster - I bought mine in April 2002, but just put them on as I was waiting until I did my exhaust work. You might check with JDaniel on here as he had them first and gave me a lead that led me to where I got mine. The paint guy told me they were a well done fiberglass job and the fit is damn good.

No function that I know of JYL. I just like the look. Something different, and you can see my stainless Dansk presilencer through the driverside one.

I know that Imagine Auto can get these pieces, I would get in touch with them.

Zamir is right.

This picture is from Imagineauto.com 's website under the cars for sale. And actually, his passenger version of the vent is better than mine because it goes back further unless you are not doing a dual out. Mine appears to have been made to match up with the full valance which wraps around the corner (the part I cut off so the extra pipe could stick out.

Imagine Auto was the manufacturer of the 1/4 panel flares. They have since sold the molds to a private individual, George in Onterio. Imagine Auto is not manufacturing the part anymore.

Thank you everyone for your help.
