Who makes this front splitter?
Who makes this front splitter? Is it a one off or does anyone make a reproduction?
I found it on TRE's website and they offer an alternative but this is not something they carry. I think the image was only posted to show the bumper they sell and it just happened to have the splitter attached. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1710357992.jpg |

GT Racing has this one, but its not the same style. The GT racing version wraps around the front bumper and extends several inches below.

It appears to be "inspired" by this one:

That looks like an original one. I understand the original pieces were made out of wood, but yes that's definitely what inspired this piece.
Wondering if any aftermarket company makes one.....or if the Blue car is sporting a one off piece. Probably not too difficult to create but would be nice if one already exists. |
That look a lot like a piece of jabrock... cut to fit..

Easily replicated with a spotlight and a sheet of aluminum or plywood. Cast the shadow on to the floor and trace it out.

got mine from TRE Motorsports. Seems my photos are too large to upload

Dunno about the splitter, but the color is gorgeous. Sort of a cross between teal and aqua.

Check out CCP Fabrication. They have a high quality fiberglass RS splitter for 74+ - perhaps something for long hoods too.

Thanks! sent an inquiry to see if they make one for the early cars. The profile looks pretty much the same compared to that IROC bumper in the link you sent.
|
TRE definitely makes this splitter.

Following…love to add one of those splitters to my RST.

So I actually spoke with TRE and they don't make this one. I was told the splitter on the light Blue car was an original wooden Porsche piece. They only offer the version on the dark blue car, which is a nice piece but probably wont last for street use. |
