Front quarter window sealing
Car is a UK spec 1988 Carrera Coupe.

Can anyone tell me what the material is around the front quarter window glass? I have just removed the window glass from the frame and frame seal and am surprised to see a bead of material running around the glass.

It doesn't appear on PET.

Is this a bead of butyl rubber? (Dum dum?)
I want to replace it before I refit the glass.
