How green is OEM green glass?

As the subject says...

I need a windshield and it will be clear or green tinted to match the rest of my windows. All car glass has some green tint, so I'm guessing this may be considered clear, but I don't know. White paper behind to show the tint. Input please

The slope is not slippery; in fact it is entirely frictionless.

My glass code is 568 Tinted glass, 1981 911 and it's seems to me to be the same as the side glass?

Not sure a fully green tinted windshield is available. I’ve seen them with just the upper part tinted.

Pelican doesn't sell windshields so I hope its ok to post these here.

Windshields are available both in clear, complete green tint, and with the heavy tint stripe at the top (which also has the glued-on mirror mount.) The latter is what I took out, but I'm backdating and want the classic look. Just want to match the OEM glass in the rest of the windows.

You have the green tint - I don't think you could ever get clear glass in an SC. The white paper test proves it, so the green tinted 65-77 glass will give you the look you want. A SWB mirror (that doesn't glue to the inside of the screen) will make for a clean install, too.

Just checked and my 81 SC has solid green tint on the windshield like the one on the left above. Factory glass, never replaced. Good luck.

Thanks guys! This clears it up. Or tints it actually!

Jonny, you'll be happy to know I got one of these:
