				G50 bell housing
			 
			I have an issue with the engine mounted oil cooler hitting the bell housing of the G50 trans my engine is built from a 3.0L case I have a BEHR engine mount oil cooler that I got from a dealer it says the cooler fits up to 89 so it fits a G50 oil cooler on the trans won't go trans on the cooler won't go is there an engine mount cooler that is just for the 87-89 cars? | ||

			The cooler looks like a replacement, it should fit. I’ve found some replacement parts that have fitment problems.

			Cooler looks like a replacement to me too Try getting an original to try I have one you could try but its in CT

				Engine Oil Cooler………
			 
			That is not the OEM engine oil cooler for your ‘89 Carrera 3.2 motor. You got the wrong cooler from your dealer.  Tony | ||

			If they list a cooler for a 72-89. How could it not be for an 89?  My engine case is an 83. I did think it was BEHR. But it just says made in Germany and has Porsche number on it.

			It looks like you could carefully and safely grind away on the area between the flange and the welds to make it work. Or maybe not. Not sure if oil passes through that part, or if it's just some sort of solid spacer.
