There may be an obscure torque spec for that somewhere, but I haven't seen it. Maybe Tony has it. On copper washers, I tighten them enough that they don't leak, and just a touch more.

I have never torqued it. I do what PeteKz does. Not had an issue. If there was a number, it would be low, I don't crank on it til my arm hurts. <15 ftlb, prob less than 10.

1.4 mkp x 7.233 lb/ft = about 10.1 lb/ft or 121 inch pounds.
I have never torqued it either but troubleshooting a small issue and want to eliminate as many things as possible. Thanks |

That seems to be from the 004. The 006 came in around '75.

Completely Two Different Parts…………
Please be aware that item #1 (plug) as posted by Dp is NOT the same nor close to the Primary Pressure Valve with push valve found in SC fuel distributors (-031/-077). They are not comparable by any means. We are comparing apples to oranges.

Never said they where the same. It’s safe to assume like materials with crush washer screwing into fuel distributor would have similar torque values.

This is all that I could find regarding Torque.

![]() Thanks FYI mine was way too tight. I had to get a longer handled ratchet to break it lose. 10-11 ft lbs is not much, but its not leaking so all good. |
