Brake Fluid Level Sensor
I just rebuilt the rear brakes on my 86 Carrera and have a problem with the brake fluid level sensor in the reservoir causing the brake warning light to stay on.
I flushed the system and doing so I removed the strainer in the reservoir to suck out the old fluid. I noticed the floating disk which triggers a low fluid warning was loose. I must have knocked it loose when removing the strainer. How does the float attach to the vertical rod? The end of the rod has a rubber nipple. Does this nipple just pop through the hole in the float or is a replacement necessary? TIA |
