Under Bumper Mounted Driving Lights

I was wondering if anyone had seen lights mounted like this and if so could provide some illumination on exactly where and how the lights are mounted.

unless you want to temporarily have the lights for an event, cant imagine why anyone would deface a beautiful G Body like that. Much nicer to mount them on the bonnet permanently if you are going for that look.

My thinking is an unobtrusive mount, perhaps even one that doesn't require any modification to the external bumper at all, is reversible. Hood mounts not so much.

Wait a minute, drilling a hole along the underside of the aluminum bumper, where it is not visible if the lights are removed, is defacing, but drilling holes into the bonnet isn't defacing??? Ok.

If you remove the valance you can access the bottom of the bumper and secure the light mount that way.

That is precisely what I was alluding to, I did say a mount with no modification to the external bumper. Anyway, Ill just poke around and fab something up if I decide to mount the lights I have laying around.

And, while, yes, technically defacing, there is a significant qualitative difference between drilling a few holes on the underside of a bumper and drilling holes on a hood even though my car is definitely a driver and not a queen.

EDIT: Sorry, reading is hard. I see you were responding to the second post. My bad.

I believe, not certain, that there is a gap between the top of the valance and he bottom of the bumper in the area where those lights are mounted. This would allow you to fashion a mount behind the bumper that extends between the bumper and valance.

I don't think anyone answered your question.

This would allow you to grab the lower back edge of the bumper.

Nilight 2PCS Universal Adjustable Light Mount Bracket Clamp for Installing Without Drilling

Best.
