Pierburg Carb Pump in SC
Hi All - I have a set of PMO carbs in my SC, stock SC pump with all of Len's fuel lines. Seems like this is the go to pump for carbs.
https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/721440510.htm?pn=7-21440-51-0-INT I'd like to swap over to this so I'm not sending a massive amount of fuel back to the tank from the PMO pressure regulator. From what I've read, the inlet on this pump is smaller than the outlet from the SC tank. Any good solutions on that transition or am I best going the not so pretty route and using a union reducer in the middle of two hose chunks? Second, open to opinions for different pumps but don't want to spend a fortune. Looks like the above pump can be bought for less than $70.

I went with a low-pressure Mallory 110 pump, which is a rebuildable gerotor style pump. No trouble in over 8 years of use.

Master Porsche mechanic John Walker here in the PNW recommended the Pierburg 912FPMP to me for my 2.7 with 40mm PMOs. I bought a spare and have a new in box available here: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/1152718-pierburg-912fpmp-fuel-pump-new-box.html

Thanks all. I picked up a Pierburg 721440510 from FCP.
