Fried Frunk Light Wires. '77 911S

I have some fried wires which lead to the frunk light, and probably glove compartment light and clock (each of which don't work). I'm pretty sure that it was caused by an electrical short when I accidently hooked up a hot wire to ground next to the battery. I'd like to try to re-build the wires, and a picture of the correct/healthy wire connections would help. Could anyone assist with a picture, or description of the wire connections around that location? I've attached a picture of the fried wires for reference.

Here’s a link to the 77 schematics. You can follow the flow chart to rebuild the wiring.

IIRC those wires are for the glove box and the trunk light

Thanks much. I'll take a look at that. I've never followed wire diagrams before, but I'll give it a try. ;-)

Frunk light wiring

The (black) wiring runs from 1st fuse of the 10 pole fusebox towards the clock, from there (2 wires) it runs to the glove box light (2 wires) and from there to the interior light connection. (at the interior light connection its connected with a white-black wire for the trunk lights)

I hope this helps !

Greetings from the Netherlands.

Check the glove box light too. It gets old, cracks, and can cause a short to ground. Happened in my 1973. Fortunately didn't fry the harness.

This is all super helpful. I'll take another look and try to orient myself based on these descriptions and the wiring diagram. All super helpful! Thanks a million. ;-)
