Mechanical or electrical speedo?
OK, get ready for a stupid question. I have a 1976 911 that - I thought - was supposed to have an electrical speedometer, but mine's got a cable drive that attaches to the rear of the gearbox and that also threads into the back of the speedo. Reeks of mechanical speedometer, right? Is this a carry-over from the 1975 models?
