While I don’t disagree, if “good help” is required to recognize the need for and to wad up a few pieces of thick brown paper, we are f’d as a society.

This is a critical failure at the highest levels of the corporation. Called the Porsche specialist, he was appalled. Anybody have a better(won’t take much) vendor?
This last week has been dealing with failing companies worldwide. First was a company called Keen, the shoes experienced structural failure after 9 months, the approved the warranty claim and issued me a credit for less than 1/2 of the original purchase price, in their “company store” but it’s not even enough to get the original shoes replaced. The next was Direct TV, the incompetence is staggering, the tech couldn't even program the remote. Add DHL to the list, that story is long and stinky. Needless I will never install a part that has been the DHL system. Then this poo show….. America is in trouble…

I'm sad to say, I stopped ordering from our host.
I've been very pleased with the fast and accurate shipments from F C P -- Euro, but they are close to home, so that helps expedite shipments....for Porsche factory parts, I typically use the Delaware Porsche Parts, easy, fast shipping, no complaints.

I have been waiting for a week on a return number from our host. Very disappointing. Not my style to complain publicly am hoping a thread like this shifts the balance back to what has kept me a customer for many many years...otherwise, there are other options. Erik

I am glad, in a sad way that this isn’t happening to just me.
Freaking nightmare Bye Felicia

This made my day. Sadly. Rome probably fell for equivalent or less. Customer service across the board is deteriorating. I have bikes, motorcycles, cars and off roaders and there is zero care in the products/product shipping and especially customer service. The last 10 years it's been very noticeable. Erik

Lower your expectations and try to forget you are paying more than you ever imagined you would pay for filters and spark plugs. Your health depends on it.

You must really really be removed from how things actually are now. Since covid I would consider that order (if all the correct parts were included) a win. I receive hundreds of packages a week at my office. Things are seriously messed up in every shipping department period. I feel for every company trying to hire someone who shows up to work and possibly gives a chit.

I’ve been buying keen the last coupLe of years from an online company that is set up to use the $200 annual footwear allowance my company gives me , as it’s easier to order from them them and waive the leftover $ rather than buy elsewhere and have to claim back through payroll .
This year they put the price up so with tax it’s 67cents over my allowance , and they want credit card details for the 67c !!! I guess I’ll be buying on Amazon (or Clint at rsr) and dealing with payroll this year . |

I recently bought a lift from BendPak. The hydraulic power unit was experiencing an electrical issue. BendPak was great as I had a real person in the USA on the phone immediately. They acknowledged the problem and sent me a new power unit via the brown truck. It arrived in a completely trashed box and the capacitor covers were mashed. I am not a fan of the boys in brown. The box had fragile stickers all over it. Fortunately I was able to use parts from the first unit to fix the second one. This was the suggestion from BendPak. I understood the request as it would save me time, them time and money. I was happy to do it. All worked out fine but the lack of care from the shipping company was ludicrous.

I forgot to agree with your comment. Yes we are definitely f'd. All of that "everyone get's a ribbon" nonsense in the 80's and 90' ruined all future workers.

All the 'chit' above pretty much sums it up. As both a consumer and seller I see it on both sides, entitlement. Don't blame PP unless you have to hire like they do. I try to buy local and in the P world PP is local. Don't ask about the factory oil filter I bought that toasted my zero turn mower.

Not much of either. Have resorted to gluing pennies over the bald spots.
