I must have missed a page! I'll check at the office in the AM. Also, it's tough to read when you've got to reduce the file size to 100K!! -- Curt

Curt. I've had the same problems with 100K file sizes. BTW - That story can still be bought in the Brooklands Book "Road & Track on Porsche -- 1968 - 1971" which is available from EWA in NJ for $13.60 plus shipping. Along with that article is one on "Mrs. Dick's Porsche" which was a 4-door 911 conversion as well as roadtests of early T's, E's, S's, Sporto's, and other stuff on 914's and V8 conversions, I've found the Brooklands books to be a great value and you don't even have to violate any copywrites. It's hardly much more then the price of copies. EWA also carries a wide variety of models. Curt, I don't know what your opinion is of them in that regard. I don't have one since I'm not in the model world.

Man I LOVE that refueling pipe. It reminds me of the Donohue 20 foot fuel tower, where he said the car would sag on its suspension as hundreds of pounds of fuel were transferred in 3-1/2 seconds!

OK, let's try this again. I've scanned just the text. It's still not great, but it's readable.

I love all these old R&T articles...
I reread them about once a year... Like the one where they compare the 73S with the 73RSR... Great stuff!

That's a really cool article. In the last set of pictures, I have 5 of those exact wheels sitting in my garage.
I purchased my '68S from the original owner. Cardex lists Dunlop's as an option . I wonder if this article influenced him to order the dunlop tires and buy the AR wheels.
