Anybody done the kit car thing?
I did some lookiing today and think I might do a Cobra Kit next. Also looked at the spyder kits but parts seem less accessable than those for the Cobra.
Anybody done one? Of course the SC stays as well...

I just sold a Vintage Speedster. I did not do it myself, nor would I. Great car lots of fun. It needed a ton more motor however.

Hi DavidH - yeah, I did one. http://www.robnell.com.au/
I literally searched the world, and decided that the best Cobra kit I could find was made in my own town. It took abot 12 months and A$100. It made 409hp and scared the hell out of me! Way loud and just too scary. I enjoyed building it but not owning it. Sold it for the 964. |

Almost. I have a Fury kit and a Honda S2000 drivetrain in my basement. Turns out it was a wee bit above my mechanical skillset.
