82 SC Wheels spacers recommendation
as I'm replacing the rotors now rusty, I wanna take the advantage of maybe adding some mm of space
I have regular 16" wheels, 16x6 fronts and 16x7 rears the tires are the stock size 205/55R16, 225/50R16 Anyway, I don't want a super aggressive look, nor do I want to add to get into complicated mods. I just want that little look almost flush to the fender. I said almost but I guess 5-15mm spacer can be enough? are these good without any additional accessory/modifications? H&R TRAK+ 7mm for the front https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/HR2895716.htm?pn=HR-2895716&bc=c&SVSVSI=0574 H&R TRAK+ 14mm for the rear https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/HR2895716.htm?pn=HR-2895716&bc=c&SVSVSI=0574 Last edited by francesconyc; 05-20-2024 at 06:54 AM.. |

Go measure your wheels width. At least post the part numbers.
Otherwise any advice is useless pointless and dumb |

This post has almost exactly the information you're looking for, but on a Carrera. Same wheel and tire specs. Lots of other info available in that thread.

Same car here, and I'd say it depends on camber. With close to -2 degrees in the rear my 23mm spacers on 16x7 still look just a bit tucked. I don't have any spacers up front, I should probably go ahead and do that as I'm at the same camber up front. That 7mm looks nice from the linked thread.
One thing I noticed with the spacers with included studs is that you need to be very careful with cleaning wheel surfaces and torquing them. It's surprisingly easy to get a wobble.

Great post above
If it was my car I would put the 7s in the front and get some 8s for rears. 6s in the front they never look full in my opinion That's probably the look you want |

I went through this. I thought by the time I'd bought the longer studs and changed the studs, it would be easier to just get the 8"wheels and move the 7"s to the front. You still keep the same tires but get that nicely filled out look. |

my wheels are a satin/black almost blue, so it would be impossible to find a 8" match
also the price including new tires would b way higher than 200$ spacers |

perfect, I just ordered the 7mm and the 14mm for the rear (probably the 21 is a bit too much for my taste, but I can always change my mind ![]() |

Enjoy the spacers and know that when it's time for new tires you have options.

Understood -- fwiw, moving the deeper 16x7 Fuchs currently on the rear of your 911 up front and adding deeper 16x9 (or 16x8) for the rear wheels looks quite nice w/o the need for spacers
