side quarter window removal help

what is the difficulty of removing the side window frame? how do the “L” shape clips come off and will the rest of the frame come off “easily”? will the windows need to be removed to get that frame off and on? i would like to paint the frames having them off the car. Or am i lookin to open a can of worms?

The whole window needs to come out. Then you can remove the trim from the rubber in order to be able to refinish it.
