81 911 SC clutch not disengaging
I just got this 81 911 SC that has been sitting garaged for 20 years and have been getting it roadworthy. I went to go drive it for the first time, but the clutch will not disengage I adjusted the clutch cable to have a 1mm gap at the stop bolt per the Bentley manual and it is still not disengaging.
pedal up ![]() pedal depressed ![]() I am not sure if the issue is with the clutch or if my cable alignment is not correct. I took a video of the cable and release lever when the clutch pedal is being depressed and added screenshots below. I would appreciate any advice. Warm the engine, shut it off, engage 1st gear, clutch pedal down, start engine, on/off throttle a couple of times to break the disc loose. Make sure there is nothing in front of you.
