bench testing 15 degree switch
 

Can, anyone explain a bench test method of this switch with a multimeter.
I am not getting continuity when it is below 15 degrees (refrigerated), and I am not getting continuity when heated in a toaster oven. Just wanting to understand before I think of replacing

Well, you did the right test method ... applying cold ... and .... applying heat.
If it does not change its state, ... its faulty

I found the 15 deg switch (which from memory is the one on the passenger chain cover) operates the opposite way it described in Bentley (e.g., when it is closed and when opened). Regardless, it should switch at the 15 deg mark. I put mine in the freezer and it changed state. I would say yours if faulty if you can't get it to change.

Yes you're right I overlooked your second line above.
The 15°C Switch I know from 1980-1983 Models are "NC", means closed below 15°C.
But the method of testing is still the same.
