1966 911 Garage Find in NY Times
Just read this article in the NY Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/06/automobiles/collectibles/young-collectors-older-classic-cars.html?searchResultPosition=1
It's about how some young car collectors are not buying cars from their youth, but are buying much older cars instead. The first example was Cameron Luther, who got a tip on a non-running 1966 911 in a garage. The 94-year old owner, Carlos Quintana, didn't want to sell. But he told Cameron if he could get it running and take him for a last drive, he would sell it to him. Which is what happened late last year. So wondering if either Cameron or Carlos are members here? I don't recall any recent 1966 garage find threads. Would be cool to hear from either of them. Mark
