Wheel Stands or Tire Cribs
I've seen homemade 2x4 Tire Cribs on line, but I just recently saw an adjustable metal set. Do you think this is homemade, or does anyone know where to purchase?
![]() Or should i just build a set of these 2x4 cribs?

Probably home made - I would trust those wooden cribs more than the metal set pictured.

Agreed. I tried perforating the metal like an esco-style jack stand when I built a rotisserie for a previous project car. It did not go well. Without the dimples, "hole-y" metal is significantly weaker than regular stuff.

I would do the metal as a complete welded box (non adjustable) or stick with wood.
