OIl tanks -- '86 vs. '73

I am putting a 1986 3.2L engine in my 1973 T. Can I use the original oil tank? Or do I need to use the 1986 oil tank that I got with the engine? If the latter, will it it fit Ok, do I need to cut any sheet metal?

I am using carbs so there are no issues re a sealed oil vapor return. I'd like to keep the original tank if it's not too much trouble.

Thanks!

The only issue you should have is the oil line connections, but those are easliy fabricated.

I used the '87 tank from the donor car in my '73. Went right in.
