Hi, 👋 help/advise needed. My 911 Carrera from 1974 is ready for painting (after a ground up restoration)
. The body shop is now asking me which body parts that should have under coating (orange peel surface look) applied before painting. Front spoiler/apron? Front aprons (small pieces on left and right side)? Trim cover under the doors! Lower part behind the back wheels? I hope someone can guide me to get the original look and feel. Thanks in advance! One thing I learned (1977) was that the undersides of all the wheel arches, actually entire wheel well and extends to the lip of the arch, have the undercoating. This was explained in a recently posted video link here, but I can’t recall the topic. The expert explained that it is an area to check if the original fenders/quarter panels were replaced or repaired.
