Show me a red RSR.
I was just watching TV and I saw a clip of Jerry Seinfeld in his red Carrera RS. Man that thing was beautiful! I dont think there is a better color on a bright sunny day than Guards Red. Does anybody have any pictures of an 73 RSR in red with black script? Thanks.

What show did you see this in?
Some celebrity profile thing. There was a 5 minute clip with him and his cars. Seems he's the King of parking tickets in L.A.
We should contact Jerry and invite him to join or at least be our first guest speaker at the Gruppe B convention! Ha Ha

Does anybody think he visits Pelican?
No....but his lawyer sent a cease and desist letter to a lister that was taking pics of his collection on posting them on the site....
What? Why?
The poster was taking pics of the collection while they weree being washed. They were stored in an airport hanger and he was taking pics from his office on the second floor.
As to why the lawyer sent the letter? Well.....why do lawyers wear neckties? To keep the foreskin from flapping up over their ears....:p It seems he was worried about security, vandalism, privacy etc.... |
Well if they knew he was posting them on the site, he must visit the site.
Not really.....someone probably told him, then he called his lawyer.....

here is mine...
Not an RSR, or a real RS for that matter, but it is very red. I think most of the red cars above are this same color, its called India Red.

So were the early cars not Guards red but india red?
there was also a Bahia Red as well.
yep...
I beleive Guards red was an available color on the early cars (someone may correct me on this...) but according to this site: http://www.classicscars.com/chassis/porsche/porsche.htm none of the Carrera RS cars were painted Guards Red. Looks like they were either Bahia or India red.
WOW, i thought guards red ruled the world but india red is really nice.
