New to me 911 SC

I purchased the below 911 SC from BAT a few months ago and am looking for any information or history on the car that members may have. So far it’s been a well sorted example and I have so far put about 800 miles on it here in the CO canyons.

Recently did a full fluid flush and valve adjustment, which only 2 needed some adjustment…

VIN: WP0AA091XCS122404

Lovely car. Can't tell you anything about the history, though. What did the seller tell you?

Great looking car.

Maybe install screening to protect your center oil cooler. Nice looking ride.

Thanks all, it was through BAT sold by a consigner so no real history other then some records on the engine build.

There is mesh in front of the cooler, you just can’t see it. (It catches lots of bugs)

Paid $145k delivered, no bat fee which was a plus.

Reach out to the original BaT dealer — 911r aka Avant Garde in Portland, OR — and see if they’re willing to connect you to the prior owner?

Looks like it otherwise bounced between speculators a bit at the peak of the market.

3.8L stroker build == sounds like it’s a fun car!

No response from avant guard but I did put a ducktail and new wheels on her!

I like the new look a lot more.

Curious about the Group 4 wheels you pulled off. Do you know size (ET?)Can you confirm you have 930 flares? Looks like it in the rear. Can’t tell for sure up front.

Perhaps I’m in the minority. Although I prefer no tail, I’d take a duck over a whale and I’d rather Fuchs over most wheels. All that said, the smaller diameter Campy, fat sidewall and whale worked very well on that car to my eye. To each his own and you’ve done well to make it your own as you should.

Love the visual changes you made. Was wondering where this car was going to end up as it seems to have changed hands a few times. Looks like a great build!

Thanks all! I’m chipping away at making it mine little by little and performing routine maintenance. - I have had some amazing drives with it so far and it doesn’t sit much.

I want to focus more on drivability next. So planning to add either an electronic exhaust valve or 100 cell cat to make it loud/quiet.

Waiting to add classic9 electric heat and AC when that comes out.

Eventually I want to reupholster the interior and freshen that up a bit but that’s more of a winter project.

Car really rips though!
