912 to 911 conversion - Engine bay chassis longitudinal height?

Hopefully a few 911 users can report the height (mm) of the chassis longitudinal leading into the rear corner of the engine bay(?). Rationale is that I purchased a pair of 911 weld-in engine mount brackets from a German supplier but they are too thin for the height of my chassis longitudinal.

The photo below shoes that the height of the chassis longitudinal in my ’68 912 is about 67mm.

However, the height of the weld-in brackets from the German supplier are about 57mm.

Obviously, this is a fitment issue, but I'm thinking maybe there actually is an e.g. 80s 911 with a thinner longitudinal height. If anyone knows this, please chime in.
