83 SC Brake Booster - Dust shield/filter
Finally getting around to reassembling my brake master cylinder and brake booster.
QUESTION: how does this felt dust shield/filter fit into the booster? Does it sit/rest on the top of the barrel as indicated by the pointer in Photo 1 below? Or do I stuff it into the barrel, where it sits as the pointer shows in Photo #2 below? I forgot to take a foto upon disassembly and forgot how it goes back together. Would appreciate some advice or fotos. Thanks! Photo 1  Photo 2

It sits in the barrel / shaft around the pushrod.
I went back and looked at old photos cause I didn't remember it being there. |
