Red Koni adjustment on 911SC

Hi all,

I recently installed Red Koni's on my 911SC. I adjusted them to max. soft position in the hope I got the same comfort as the original shocks. When driving my 911 it feels a bit bouncy in the front.
What adjustments did you all choose to get a comfort but also smooth drive?
Thanks!

What year and how stock is it , is it lighter? or stock, wat is the weight in lbs.
If you just did front red koni classic inserts I start with full soft then turn one full turn in or 12 hrs ,
Then depending on how stock the weight is , stock gets another 4.5 to 5 hrs of turn in .
Thats how I make them work.
If you have rears set them full soft then 2-3 hrs in max .
The best results com from the classic red non gas . The Yellow can work very well also with very small adjustments 6 hrs += 1-2hr

It is a ‘81 SC. Everything is stock.
What do you mean by “hour”? 1 hour is just a very small turn?

One full rotation is 12 hours , just like on a clock.
With this reference it is easier to keep a record of your settings
Yes these are small differences in settings , it is important to do the adjustment in small increments .

1 hour = 30 degrees of adjustment screw rotation.
