replaceing front spiler
 

last night i had a little mishap in my 85 carrera. a few moments later i found myself off the road in a field...luckily had no damage except it knocked the black lip loose on my front valence...i did not install it is that portion put on with glue or something else?? that's kind of what it looks like. just need some advice on repair.

the lip should be held on by several bolts through the bottom of the valance. It sounds like maybe someone who had your car didn't want to drill holes to put the spoiler on the valance.

were you still drinking when you posted, or just when you entered the field?
