1975 911S Starter wiring

Hey everyone, im new here!

I just recently inherited my late fathers 1975 911s. I have grown up with this car and am very familiar with it, but an pretty new to working on it. Long story short, it sat in a nice enclosed garage under cover for 6.5 years and i received it about a month ago. Ive gone through and done a lot of general tune up and maintenance before starting the car. It is running great!! when it cranks.. haha.

I was experiencing what seemed to be heat soak issues on the starter. i can bump start it all day and run no problem.
I ordered the bosch rebuilt starter and put it in yesterday. My issue is, the one i received does not have the tab to put on the yellow wire from the ignition switch and instead has two screw connections. I changed the tab connector to a ring and mounted it on the smaller lower screw I read that was the same as the tab on my original. Turned the key and nothing happened... Fresh battery as well.

Any insight in to this wiring would be much appreciated. The old starter would work when it wanted to.. haha
Cheers!
