How many stickers do you have on your car?
That's the only way we can guess your HP

180 stock 200-220 after
Great low end torque and absolutely screams from 3,500 to redline. So much fun and can’t help but think it’s the higher end of my estimate Last edited by Jpicardi; 02-02-2025 at 03:05 AM.. |

You can use a dyno app on the smartphone. Most of them are crap, but also a few may work pretty well. I know a german app which is able to correct the 1Hz GPS positioning of most smartphones pretty well
You have to enter specific values of the car like weight, transmissions rates, drag coefficient etc. Best is of course an external 10hz GPS mouse for that but the app may correct it pretty well with all correct values: https://www.gps-laptimer.de/ => Products => (bottom of page) Harrys Dyno https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.harrys.dyno https://itunes.apple.com/app/harrys-dyno/id1148400332 Thomas

It’s all going to depend on the cams + carbs (aka the tune). Could be anywhere between 220rwhp and 255rwhp.
I’ve seen Steve Wong and others post solid ~250rwhp data from well-tuned 3.2SS builds, but powerband/curve will dictate a lot here. Why not get it dynoed? Couple of hundred to get a few pulls in and then you have the data!

How far are you from a place that offers dyno rentals?

Get a dragy and an open road and find out. The trap speed in the 1/8 or 1/4 mile (NOT the E.T.) can be entered into any of the decades old online calculators, since you know the car's weight. More accurate than lots of chassis dynos where the tire pressure can be changed to manipulate the hp reading. And don't get me started on the "fudge factors" most operators use.

With stock cams I think close to 225.
