Interest in corner window mounted side mirrors - new RUF CTR style.
 

Boss finally got his "2024" RUF CTR. Beautiful car all around!

One of my favorite parts on the thing are the side mirrors. They look a lot like some factory Porsche mirrors, and appear to use 928 mirror glass.

I've done some detailed 3d scanning of the mirror and am planning on making my own replicas, using the available OEM mirror motors and glass.

It's awesome having such an attractive mirror that's completely useful (unlike the original RUF mirrors you can't see anything out of!)


Anyone else interested in a set? I'm planning on prototyping from plastic and probably will have the final items 3d metal printed in aluminum. Carbon is a possibility as well.

Anyway to modify it to cover the factory door holes? Possibly have the bottom extend to cover the holes?

Been eyeing these since the new CTR was introduced. Brilliant design with beautiful proportions. I'm interested but at 2K+ euros from RUF not so much. With a paintable surface and less than half the price I could be convinced. As for the door hole...with original paint...not sure if my antenna overlay plug style fill would make the grade?? As seen on race/rally cars. Besides a repaint any other solutions?
