Picture of 915 reverse switch pin.
 

I was just trying to fix a non-op reverse light on a 915 gearbox and the new switch did not solve the problem. The reverse pin came out with the switch and it looks different from the reverse pin on the last 915 gearbox I rebuilt.

Does anyone have a picture of a reverse pin for the switch on a 915?

Lots of images if you google 911 reverse pin.

I saw one and the one that came out of this gearbox looks nothing like that one.

About 2" long and the small end points to the switch.

So the one that came out did not look like that. No wonder it did not work.

Can you show us what came out.

I did not take a picture but I will when I replace it. It looks a lot like an un-used rivet with a shoulder 10mm from one end.

So here is what came out. What the hell is this thing?
