Is Porsche Daylight Yellow really a thing?

It also noted a 2.4-liter engine—number 6322388—a Black leatherette interior with “Pearl Cord,” and a driver’s-side mirror.

When I visited the factory on 1971, there were a half dozen 911s with very bright flourescent colors. The tour guide said that the German government asked for them to test if visibilty would be better. Fortunately, they didn't work out.
