1977 911S turn signal and headlight issues

Just purchased a 77 911S and when I use the turn signals the right headlight goes out. Also the headlights are stuck in high beams. Could this be a bad turn signal high beam lever problem? Thanks

Common problem. Due to all the headlight power going through the switch. Here is a solution.

You should install a head light relay set to keep the headlight power away from the switch. Our host has them here: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/JWST911HLPR.htm?pn=JWST-911-HLPR&bc=c&SVSVSI=
