back seat snaps
I need to replace those snaps that hold up the back seats. On one, the snap ripped out from the backrest. On the other, the leather strap broke.
Has anyone bought the hardware and fixed it themselves? Where'd you get it? What's the process of doing it? Forgive the dumb questions - I haven't given it much thought yet and am thinking of just taking it to a pro. Thnaks

I just searched the archive and I found that this topic has been discussed a lot EXCEPT it seems like my straps fastened to the back seat rest and not the back top pannel (where speakers are). Could this be right? There's a tear in the backrest where, I'm assuming, the female or male end of the snap ripped out.
It seema like an easy fix except I don't know how to mount the snap to the backrest (without it ripping out again). Heck, I might not be looking at it right and all mixed up (which is usually my MO)
