Turbo Paint Recommendations?

I need to have some 930 parts painted and have a couple questions:

Is the Rocker Schutz, I think that’s what it’s called, applied before or after the primer/sealer?

What brand of Schutz and primer/sealer does the factory use?

Is the lower valance on a turbo Schutzed?

Finally, what color is the inside of the factory turbo spoiler (the fiberglass part)? Did the factory spray it black or leave it the exterior car color?

Thanks!

TurboRuf,

I believe the factory used Wurth Body Shutz aka: SKS Stone Guard. It comes in black and tan is applied over the primer and painted with the body colored topcoat.

It is used on the rear valance and on the lip of certain front spoilers.

A special spray gun is used to apply it properly...it's actually very easy to apply.

You can get a 3/M brand product from the auto paint store and just shake it and spray from the can. You need no gun. There is a light texture and a medium texture. I did a new front valance with medium and it worked great. There was no texture on the new metal valance only primer.
