ignition coil bracket for 1972 911 with a/c
I read this "The ignition coil is mounted to a small plate that moves it farther down on the fan housing to give better clearance for the rear condenser. " I can't find this plate he talks about and my car does not have it and yes the end of the coil is too close to the condenser when the hood is closed. This is a 1972 911T with factory a/c. Any ideas where I can get one or can someone share a pic? All the vendors just have the standard coil bracket.

Make one, just a square piece of metal with 4 holes in it.

I want to remain stock and I think the factory piece has some detail I can't replicate.

Not sure if this is any help I know you are looking for a factory one, but I have mine off at the moment so I thought I would post a few pics just in case you decide to make one. I don't see a part number on it and the little studs seem pressed in but here is mine for reference. Overall stud length is about 3/4".

You should be able to find a used one using part number 901-126-121-01.

The part number 901-126-121-01 is listed in the 65-83 PETs, so blucille's part will work.
