Minnesota Pelican Drive 5/31

The much anticipated Minnesota Pelican drive is nearly upon us. Show up and drive or just show up for the initial meeting to hang out for awhile. Either way, just show up.

We will be meeting at the Target store at the southwest quadrant of 494 and Penn Avenue at 9:30am on Saturday, May 31st.

Mike (AKA: Limble) has planned a route and posted maps on his website. Thanks Mike.

The route will take us down Hwy 61 to Wabasha for lunch at Slippery's and a stop at the toy store then back north on the Wisconsin side of the river. See the maps for details. Or perhaps Mike will chime in with more info.

Let's not forget folks, there is also the German Car Fest at Schaar's Bluff in Hastings on June 7th. Perhaps the folks that miss this weekend's drive would like to meet up there?

Have fun everyone! With temps in the 60's the cars should run like the wind. (And the wind was fast and cool last night!) I'll be working, but hope to make a run in the near future.

Dan: sorry about your car troubles, and sorry I left you all just before the construction zone when it died again. By the time I spotted you dropping back and pulling over, I was in the barriers and it just didn't seem like a safe place to stop at all. Hope you got home without any further interruptions.

Sounds like there'll be a coffee meeting sometime soon and probably a tech session barbeque at Sarah's so we can get her wrenchin' on her car.

Hi Guys. I have to say I had an awesome day and look forward to our next get together. Nate I know...I was pretty conservative...but I have a healthy fear of the WI police's ticket writing abilities. But I have to say...you and Joe flying past me sounded pretty awesome too...how fast was that?? I think pushing 100 easy.

OK...now regarding digital pictures...I'm working on this tonight and should be able to post them tomorrow in the morning from work because the connection is much faster. Let's hope my editing goes well.
