Origin of 15x11 & 15x9 fuchs

I've got these on my car which has aftermarket flares added. Does anybody know what these wheels came off of originally? Just curious.

I think they were originally used on the early RSR's, unfortunately they are tough to get tires for now.

The 9 x 15 wheels were used in multiple applications, including the back wheels of RS 3.0 cars in '74/'75 for the street/road.

The combination you have was used only on the '73 RSR 2.8 model for the track ... though some Turbo's were retrofitted by removing the factory spacers and replacing long wheel studs with shorty's!

Thanx for the info! Wheels are currenty at Mr. Reeds being spiffed up. They will then be mounted on Pirelli 345's which are the only tires I could find for them. Car originally had Yokohamas and I've read that the Pirellis are a little narrower which is good because they really are a tight fit.

I saw your wheels and tires at Al Reed's yesterday!! Holy footprint, Batman!

I was surprised to see the tires, I had heard that those sizes in 15s were NLA.

yea 225's. The fronts use a spacer and fit pretty well.
