Searching for bad ground ...direct me where to look!

Anyone have a picture or able to direct me exactly to ground wires I believe are in the photo that are affecting my mirror direction. under the dash or in the frunck, if so where?

I get panning only no tilt...got to be bad ground.

it’s an 85 911
while testing the pass side, i had the green wire on test light to see if it was ground, while it was grounded the left side mirror worked perfectly… it tilted. disconnected the test light from the green and the driver side once again only panned, no matter which way I pushed the switch. seems the ground is goin ln the one direction, from the pass to the driver side. not getting anything in the test light from one of the 2 brown grounds on the switch. crazy stuff. must not be grounded somewhere and the tilts won’t work, but both pan only. I know motors are good, had them on another car to test.. and switch works as well. know that after the driver side worked with green wire on pass side was tested.

I happened slowly...1 then, later the other
Checked the motors, door switch, directional switch (switches left mirror or right)

Diode were cahged due to conncting wrong wires together...again they work fine on another car.

See my above post about testing green wire on pass side. Not getting ground on one of the brown wires on pass side. I will dig out the photos of each inside mirror wiring.

I think the ground, brown wire, connects in the frunk by the fender and door post.

the mirror has a motor that connects via a plastic bracket to plate that holds the mirror. So if it moves up down but not side to side, that could be a broken bracket. My DS mirror was like this when I bought the car, it moved up and down but not side to side. I found a replacement mirror drive on eBay and that resolved the issue.
The wiring diagram seems to indicate that pins 4 & 5 are connected together and also run to ground.

I know EVERYTHING there is to know about the mirror assembly.. at one time i figured out the diodes were burnt out, took the mirror apart and changed them. As you can read in my original post, the mirrors work PERFECTLY… on a friends car, my question is where are the ground points? By the way they are behaving, it MUST be a ground wire.
do appreciate the help!
