SV Auto's 1982 Porsche 911SC "Code Blue" Build

As many of you know, SV Auto were the ones who we choose to build the CSF 911. Their attention to detail and quality of work are second to none. Their mission is to craft custom classic Porsches that blend timeless design with cutting-edge technology.

Their latest project, the 1982 Porsche 911SC "Code Blue," exemplifies this ethos. The goal? To build the ultimate 911SC—maintaining its iconic, stock appearance while integrating modern advancements throughout the vehicle.

Exterior: Classic Lines, Modern Refinements
"Code Blue" underwent meticulous metalwork and body reinforcements, eliminating the need for traditional body fillers. This gave the car a flawless foundation for its custom finish. A sunroof delete enhances the clean, purposeful silhouette, while a full-body clear paint protective film preserves its timeless aesthetic.

Interior: Tailored Elegance
The interior reflects a perfect harmony of luxury and heritage. Every detail was designed for both comfort and style:
  • Hand-stitched blue leather covers the dash, door trim, and sport seats, which feature striking Pasha fabric inserts.
  • A color-coordinated blue-grey wool headliner and wool carpeting complete the refined aesthetic.
  • Modern amenities, including LED-backlit custom gauges, a vintage-style Blaupunkt radio, electric air conditioning, and a quick-shift gear selector, provide seamless functionality.

Engine: Precision Performance
Under the decklid lies a thoroughly reimagined 3.2-liter twin-plug engine:
  • Performance Upgrades: High-compression Mahle pistons and cylinders, ported and polished cylinder heads with Euro RSR intake valves, titanium spring retainers, and racing springs.
  • Advanced Components: GT3 oil pump, Kinsler drive-by-wire throttle bodies, billet intake plenum, and Motec engine management system.
  • Wiring Excellence: A mil-spec, concentrically weaved engine wire harness with quick-disconnect functionality ensures reliability and serviceability.
Paired with a custom-built 5-speed transmission featuring short gears, a limited-slip differential, and a billet cover, the result is breathtaking power delivery, sharp acceleration, and outstanding torque across the RPM range.
  • Cooling Upgrade: A High-Performance Fender Oil Cooler from CSF ensures proper operating temperatures in all driving conditions.

Chassis: Modern Handling Meets Classic Control
SV Auto equipped "Code Blue" with components to enhance performance and handling without compromising its classic feel:
  • Billet aluminum GT3-style control arms (front and rear).
  • KW Club Sport coil-over shocks for precision and comfort.
  • Adjustable RSR-style sway bars.
  • Porsche 930 Turbo brakes for exceptional stopping power.

Driving Experience: A Modern Classic
"Code Blue" offers exhilarating acceleration, refined torque distribution, and superior handling that bridges classic Porsche charm with contemporary performance.

This comprehensive build celebrates the timeless allure of the 911SC while delivering an unparalleled driving experience. Explore the complete transformation in our image gallery, and let "Code Blue" inspire your own custom Porsche journey.

Very very very nice!
Did you lover the seat supports in the shell? In my experience the electric seats tend to be higher than the manual ones.

STUNNING, indeed! Kudos on what appears to be a drool worthy build.

Which sunroof delete method was employed? Replacement panel or non-sunroof skin?

Is the motor a 3 2 liter short stroke? Is the on-engine oil cooler stock or a CSF unit too? Horsepower & torque figures (or estimates)? Curb weight?

Most importantly, it appears that the headlights are conventional H4 units (vs the current crop of LED bug eye cringe)? Thank the Porsche gods. 🙌🏻

Very nice! This is the direction I'm going with my own SC, but I'm not sure it will be that nice in the end. Love the subtitle integration of the upgrades.

Fantastic!

Sleeper build.

I love the "less is more" regarding the exterior and very original aesthetics.

Sunroof delete - I believe it's a replacement panel that is welded in, sanded, etc..

CSF Coolers - yes! Our new #8242 engine oil cooler on the engine block + our Right Front fender oil cooler (#8168) - both parts obviously available through Pelican and our network of WDs

Sorry for the slow reply. It's been very busy with PRI show coming up this week. We reached out to SV Auto to make sure we had right answer. SV Auto said, "we usually lower the seat mounts on the G body cars, we like them low."
